About the Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design and deliver modern cloud platform solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation. This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll combine technical expertise with leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes across a variety of projects.
You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs, design solutions, and lead delivery—while also contributing to internal capability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, testing, and support of cloud platform solutions
- Work directly with clients to scope, design, and deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, either independently or as part of a team
- Apply cloud architecture best practices and design patterns across solutions
- Provide technical troubleshooting and identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate workshops and support clients in adopting new technologies
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices
- Coach and mentor technical team members
- Continuously explore and share emerging technologies and innovations
- Promote a strong DevOps mindset and improve development lifecycles
- Support internal systems and collaborate with leadership to enhance processes and tools
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience delivering cloud platform or infrastructure solutions in production
- Strong experience across modern cloud technologies (ideally Microsoft Azure)
- Proven ability to lead projects and technical teams end-to-end
- Experience with DevOps practices and development lifecycle methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working directly with clients and running technical workshops
- Strong understanding of security, privacy, and cloud cost optimisation
- A proactive mindset with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge
