Position Overview:

As an SDR, you will play a critical role in identifying, sourcing, and qualifying leads for our Partnership Sales Manager. Your efforts will directly fuel our growth in the partnerships channel, where we aim to scale revenue contribution to 50% in the next 2–3 years. You’ll focus on engaging potential partners, scheduling qualified meetings, and generating high-quality SQLs that lead to closed MRR. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious SDR with at least 1 year of experience in HR tech, EOR, or payroll sales, who is eager to develop within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Generation:

o Identify and research potential partnership opportunities, including PEOs, payroll providers, HR tech platforms, recruitment agencies, and consulting firms.

o Use outbound prospecting techniques (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach) to engage target partners.

  • Qualification & Handoffs:

o Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit for Horizons’ partnership program.

o Schedule and set up meetings for the Partnership Sales Manager with qualified leads.

o Maintain a high standard of qualification to ensure SQLs align with revenue goals.

  • Pipeline Building:

o Continuously nurture relationships with prospects to build a robust pipeline of potential partners.

o Keep detailed records of outreach activities and responses in the CRM.

  • Collaboration:

o Work closely with the Partnership Sales Manager to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.

o Collaborate with the Revenue Operations and Marketing teams to align outreach efforts with campaigns and initiatives.

  • Reporting & Improvement:

o Track and report on key metrics, including outreach volume, response rates, SQLs generated, and MRR closed.

o Use data-driven insights to optimize messaging, outreach techniques, and workflows.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Experience:

o At least 1 year as an SDR in the HR tech, EOR, or payroll industry.

o Proven success in meeting or exceeding SQL or pipeline-generation targets.

  • Skills:

o Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages.

o Comfortable with outbound prospecting and engaging with senior-level decision-makers.

o Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce experience is a plus).

o Ability to analyze performance data and adapt strategies for improvement.
