Head of Marketing (B2B Hypergrowth)

The Position

This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to build and lead the entire Marketing function at one of Europe’s fastest-growing scaleups. As Head of Marketing at Hive, you’ll oversee and integrate Inbound (SEO, content, website, partnerships, paid social) and Outbound (events, outbound automations, e-mail, linkedin, whatsapp) Marketing into one high-performing engine that drives demand, shapes Hive’s brand, and fuels our journey from hypergrowth to IPO.

This role combines strategic ownership alongside data-driven decision making with hands-on impact: you’ll design the roadmap, own the budget, and lead an exceptional team, while also staying close enough to the work to ensure excellence in execution. You’ll have direct access to C-level leadership and the mandate to establish Hive as the category-defining leader in commerce operations.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire marketing funnel: Take full responsibility for the strategy and performance of all marketing functions ensuring each channel contributes to building a strong demand engine and a consistent brand experience.

  • Drive measurable growth and pipeline impact: Translate marketing activities beyond MQLs into true revenue. Build, monitor, and optimize KPIs (e.g., demos, pipeline contribution, CAC efficiency), ensuring marketing directly fuels Hive’s growth.

  • Develop world-class playbooks and systems: Build scalable marketing playbooks that set Hive apart from competitors. Introduce automation, AI, and data-driven processes that streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and provide repeatable results across all channels.

  • Elevate Hive’s brand and voice in the market: Position Hive as the thought leader for our completely earth-shattering new operations engine. Define and execute our brand strategy, develop compelling narratives, and amplify Hive’s presence through events, creative campaigns and each automated outbound touchpoint that resonate across Europe.

  • Scale and inspire a diverse team: Manage and grow a high-performing team of marketers. Build a culture of ownership, creativity, and analytical excellence while fostering professional development.

  • Align marketing with sales and product: Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Product to ensure go-to-market alignment. Build feedback loops between teams, and ensure that marketing is laser-focused on business priorities.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution: Set the vision and allocate resources effectively, while remaining close to execution to ensure campaigns launch on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.

 

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Full-stack Marketing Leader: You bring proven expertise across inbound (SEO, paid, content, social) and even more important outbound (outbound automation, events) channels. You also understand the importance of building a bold brand and communications in establishing true market leadership for an exciting new category.
  • Passion for Marketing: You don’t just like marketing, you love it. You’re driven to become a thought leader in the field, mastering both the art and science of the discipline. You understand the interconnectivity of channels, from brand and content to outreach and demand generation, and you use new platforms yourself to stay close to your audience. For you, great marketing isn’t only about creativity,  it’s about driving tangible business impact through excellent targeting, storytelling, and execution.
  • Systematic & Analytical mindset: You quickly spot opportunities and new channels, but your strength lies in prioritizing them through data-driven decisions. Instead of quick fixes, you design scalable, logical systems, leveraging automation to reduce manual work and ensure channels operate at peak efficiency with strong analytical rigor and process discipline.
  • Proven leader: Initial leadership experience is required. You know how to inspire, coach, and scale high-performing talent. You balance people development with accountability and clear results.

  • Creative & bold: You think beyond best practices, seek to differentiate, and set new benchmarks for excellence.

  • Globally minded: Experienced in managing international teams and adapting strategies to diverse markets.

  • Owner mentality: You thrive in autonomy, act proactively, and make decisions as if Hive were your own company. You don’t wait for instructions, you identify opportunities, take initiative, and follow through.
