The Position
Perfect Sales Internship Based in Berlin for Fluent Dutch Speakers
Looking for an exciting 6 or 12-month internship abroad where you can gain hands-on experience in sales? At Hive, we’re offering ambitious Dutch-speaking students and recent grads the opportunity to join one of Europe’s fastest-growing tech scaleups and kickstart their career in tech sales.
As a Sales Development Representative Intern, you’ll become part of our high-performing outbound sales team. From cold calling to booking meetings with decision-makers at top ecommerce brands in the Netherlands and beyond, you’ll be learning by doing, every single day.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Cold call and connect: Be the first point of contact for Dutch-speaking prospects, sparking interest and starting meaningful sales conversations
- Drive business: Book meetings with ecommerce brands and build a qualified sales pipeline for our Account Executives
- Get real training: Learn sales strategies, prospecting tools, objection handling, and performance-driven outreach tactics through hands-on coaching
- Work in an international team: Collaborate with a diverse group of teammates from across Europe, right in the heart of Berlin
- Own your impact: Work towards clear, trackable goals with support and recognition along the way
Who we’re looking for
- Fluent Dutch speaker with strong English (written and spoken)
- Currently studying or recently graduated in international business, sales, marketing, communication, or a related field. Erasmus Programme applicable.
- Motivated to gain real sales experience and explore a career in tech
- Comfortable on the phone and excited about cold outreach
- Curious, coachable, and eager to learn fast in a startup environment
