Retail Commercial Coordinator

The Role 

This role exists to provide commercial support to our retail teams and transform data into meaningful insights. Working closely the Retail Commercial Manager, the focus is on understanding key aspects of our business; what we sell, why we sell it and how we sell it.

The position involves analysing sales performance, customer insights and market trends to inform strategic decisions that drive growth. Insights will help shape how retail shows up, ensuring our stores are commercial and meet the needs of our community, whilst continuing to welcome new community members.

Responsible for:

  • Analyse multiple data points to identify retail trends through comprehensive analysis, using various data sources including sales, KPIs, customer feedback and market insights.
  • Manage daily and weekly trade reports, providing insights, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations to key retail stakeholders
  • Assist the Commercial Manager with retail forecasting by gathering and analysing historical performance on KPIs
  • Take ownership of QBR analysis, evaluating performance metrics and presenting findings and actionable insights to drive strategic decisions
  • Work closely with retail operations and visual merchandising teams to optimise stock levels, density, and option counts in stores
  • Monitor stock intake, ensuring availability of new product drops and tracking sell thru performance
  • Collaborate with the events teams to enhance commercial performance, conduct ROI analysis, and carry out post event evaluations
  • Implement initiatives based on insights gathered from data analysis

Essential Skills: 

  • Retail experience in a fast paced, high volume and agile environment
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets
  • Solid commercial awareness of retail dynamics
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities to identify challenges and create innovative solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve shared goals
  • Customer focused mindset to enhance retail experience
  • Keeps up to date on latest trends, competitor activity & market awareness
  • Highly organised to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel for data analysis and reporting, with the ability to operate complex formulas

 Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working with different store formats, understanding the difference between flagship and core stores.
  • Data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI
