The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead and drive strategic initiatives within our high-performing team. In this senior role, you’ll engage with a global network of clients, spearhead growth efforts across GSR’s liquidity services and crypto solutions, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to grow GSR’s client base and expand existing relationships across all business lines.

  • Represent GSR as a senior leader in key client engagements, conferences, and industry events.

  • Drive strategic partnerships and collaborations with high-value clients, exchanges, and ecosystem participants.

  • Lead, mentor, and oversee the Business Development team to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.

  • Collaborate with marketing, trading, and product teams to align GSR’s offerings with client needs and market opportunities.

  • Identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements to inform business strategies and provide actionable insights.

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality proposals, pitch decks, and client-facing materials to support onboarding and relationship management.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure the seamless delivery of GSR’s services and solutions to clients.

  • Act as a key point of contact for regulatory and compliance matters related to business development activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a senior client-facing role within financial services, crypto, or a similarly dynamic industry.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering on ambitious business goals.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trends, and ecosystem participants.

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and execute high-impact strategies.

  • Education: An undergraduate degree is essential; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to build relationships, negotiate with senior stakeholders, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

  • Execution: A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance strategic priorities with tactical execution.

  • Passion for Crypto: Strong enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency industry and a commitment to staying ahead of market and technological trends.
