People Partner (24-32 hours a week)

We are seeking a proactive and versatile People Partner to join our team in India. This is a generalist role that requires a hands-on approach to managing the full spectrum of people and workplace topics. The ideal candidate will be a crucial support system for our local team, ensuring a seamless employee experience and a thriving work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Experience & HR Operations: You'll handle everything from onboarding to offboarding, act as the first point of contact for employee questions, and ensure we stay compliant with local HR requirements. You'll also work with our external partners on payroll and benefits administration.
  • Office & Facilities Management: You'll oversee day-to-day office operations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure our workplace runs smoothly.
  • Recruitment Support: You'll partner with hiring managers to support recruitment needs, coordinate interviews, and manage relationships with external recruiters.
  • Culture & Events: You'll help build and maintain our company culture by coordinating team events and engagement activities.

Your team

You will be part of our People Team (People Business Partner, People Experience & Engagement Partner and Talent Acquisition Specialist), and you report directly to our Head of People. They are all based in Europe. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with our Engineering Manager in India. 

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in a People/HR Generalist role, preferably within a dynamic and fast-growing organization.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR operations, payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment processes.
  • Proven hands-on experience in office and facilities management.
  • Ability to balance and effectively manage both operational tasks and cultural initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A willingness to work in a hybrid setup (remote + in-office) for 3 – 4 days a week.
  • You are based in Bangalore
