People Ops Intern

About this role…
We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in organised chaos, learns fast, and loves making things work better. As a People Operations Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role across the entire employee lifecycle — from onboarding and payroll support to data accuracy and process improvements.
Please note that this is a part-time internship requiring a commitment of approximately 15–20 hours per week.
In this job, you’ll…

Own and streamline key people processes (onboarding, contracts, payroll input, benefits, offboarding)

Keep our HR systems up to date and support reporting on people metrics

Help roll out and improve policies and procedures

Support employee queries with confidence and clarity

Get stuck into people-focused projects and general admin
We’re looking for…

Operationally-minded and highly organised

A quick learner who’s proactive and resourceful

Detail-obsessed but able to see the bigger picture

Comfortable working independently and figuring things out

Interested in HR, people operations, and building great employee experiences
📍 Ideally studying HR, business, psychology, law or similar
🛠 Bonus if you’ve worked in HR or used tools like BambooHR, Culture Amp, or Google Suite
