We are looking for a hands-on Senior Finance Executive to join our finance operations and monthly accounting close across our Group entities. 

You’ll be the go-to person for timely, accurate, and well-documented closes every month. Given FINN’s multi-entity structure across Southeast Asia and beyond, a solid grasp of intercompany transactions is an important part of this role.

This is not your typical finance role. You’ll join a lean, high-ownership team where your work directly shapes how we operate and scale. If you’re sharp, eager, and excited about the intersection of finance and technology, we’d love to meet you. 

 

What You’ll Own:

Monthly Close & Reporting:

  •   Owned the end-to-end monthly accounting close process for assigned entities, with a strong focus on: (i) timely completion in line with Group close deadlines (ii) high accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data (iii) proper reconciliation and support of balance sheet and key accounts.
  •   Perform and document intercompany reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with counterpart entities proactively.
  •   Identify and resolve accounting issues during the close cycle, escalating technical or judgment matters where required.


Group Reporting Support

  •   Contribute to the preparation of monthly Group management reports, ensuring entity-level data is accurate and aligned with Group reporting standards.
  •   Support consolidation inputs where required, prior consolidation experience is a bonus.
  •   Flag and communicate any significant variances or accounting matters on a timely basis. 


Audit, Tax & Statutory Coordination

  •   Coordinate external audits for assigned entities, managing timelines, audit requests and responses.
  •   Liaise with tax agents and local advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
  •   Coordinate the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements for assigned entities.
  •   Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting requirements, escalating complex matters where required.


Process Efficiency & Technology

  •   Drive improvements to the monthly close process, including documentation, timelines, and workflow consistency.
  •   Actively explore and apply AI tools for automation to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of finance operations.
  •   Support the ERP implementation from a finance operations perspective, including testing, data migration, and adoption.


Exposure to Strategic Finance (Development Opportunity)

  •   Participate in ad hoc finance projects as business needs evolve, from financial analysis to new entity onboarding.
  •     Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives through collaboration with the leadership team.
  •   Contribute beyond your immediate scope, we value people who are proactive and solutions-oriented.

 

Success measures for the first 6–12 months

First 6 months:

  • Fully own and execute the assigned entity’s monthly close independently and on time.
  • Demonstrate accurate, well-documented interco postings and reconciliations.
  • Build strong working relationships across the finance team and other departments.
  • Develop a clear understanding of FINN’s finance operations and reporting requirements.
  • Actively contribute to at least one finance process improvement initiative. 

First 12 months:

  • Consistently deliver a clean, auditor-ready close to zero material errors financial statements.
  • Play a meaningful role in the ERP implementation. 
  • Lead or co-lead statutory filing and audit coordination for assigned entities. 
  • Identify and implement at least one AI or automation improvement to the close process. 
  • Demonstrate readiness to take on additional scope or ad hoc strategic finance projects. 

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, with strong hands-on ownership of monthly close.
  • Experience in a multi-entity or regional environment, with familiarity in intercompany transactions (understanding of transfer pricing concepts is a plus).
  • Strong attention to details and a high standard for accuracy, you notice the things others miss.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and resolve issues under time pressure.
  • Comfortable working with Google Sheets and adaptable to finance systems and tools.
  • Clear communicator with high integrity and a collaborative working style.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
