About the role

EQT seeks to recruit an individual based in Sydney, at Vice President level, to be part of the APAC PWM CR team.

About the team

EQT's global Client Relations and Capital Raising (CR) team comprises c.130+ professionals across its Coverage and Advisory functions.

• Coverage is responsible for client management and fundraising.
• Advisory is responsible for project management, coordination, RFIs, etc.

Peter Beske Nielsen is the Global Head of Private Wealth Management (PWM). The APAC PWM team is headed by Sueann Yeo based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert representing EQT’s platform and alternative investment solutions, including private equity, infrastructure, and real estate on both the close-ended and evergreen solutions.
• Fundraise across open, close ended funds and co-investment deals on the EQT platform.
• Involved in all aspects of fundraising and ongoing investor requests
• Originate and maintain relationships with the Australia Wealth Management ecosystem and key financial advisors; establishing strong rapport with centers of influence at partner firms to identify and grow their alternative investment allocation strategy
• Expert in CRM tools such as Salesforce. Also strong ability to deal with operational complexity  (especially for the open-ended funds: familiarity with AUD unit trust set up, fund platforms, research ratings and distribution)
• Excellent project management skills, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across time zones and offices
