PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur
OVERVIEW:
As a Program Director, you will own the project execution and the customer from a delivery standpoint. You are self – motivated and decisive. Working within a project methodology framework, you will be empowered to ensure that the solutions are implemented seamlessly, with strict controls and project governance which is mutually agreed with your customer. You will understand the customer’s business issues that our solution targets to resolve, and ensure that it is clear and understood by the project team. You will ensure the customer’s KPI’s to measure value of the solutions is known, understood and can be tracked. Being able to look at project execution through the lens of the customer and understanding what success looks like, the success of the project will be ultimately owned by you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own a portfolio of complex software implementation projects across multiple solution capabilities including new customer implementations.
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation and defining scope to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Assume full P&L responsibility for your projects and provide accurate weekly forecasting.
- Provide articulate and relevant status reports both for internal and external consumption.
- Prepare statement of works / change requests, estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project.
- Lead in the resolution of any issues and problems that develop during the project lifecycle, act with urgency and effectively identify and communicate risk and mitigation options to the customer and other key stakeholders.
- Be a leader and strategic player on a team of technical and functional analysts and engineers, fostering a productive team environment leveraging diverse views to encourage creativity and innovation.
- Direct, coach, mentor your team to achieve success and be better versions of themselves.
- Assess project performance and drive retrospective reviews (internally and externally) to optimise best practices, tools, processes, and governance.
- Resource management and plans to ensure you have the appropriate resources for the duration they will be needed.
- Establish and maintain outstanding customer relationships based on integrity, transparency and honesty to ensure any Customer escalations stop with you.
- Enforce collaboration cross-functionally across all levels of the internal and external organization in order to deliver expected results.
- Identify and drive upsells to grow Professional Service revenue.
- Travel (domestic, European, International) as needed.

EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain-related or SaaS-related field in increasingly responsible roles including implementing complex solutions in an enterprise customer environment.
- Experience in software deployment projects would be advantageous.
- Experience in leading teams effectively to deliver successful outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience of financial accountability.
- Evidenced track record of customer success in delivering value and exceeding expectations.
- Experience in analytics/reporting working with QlikView/QlikSense would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) knowledge would be advantageous.
