Marketing Events Coordinator

Our trade show presence is a crucial part of Dexory’s marketing strategy to raise both brand and solution awareness across the globe. We are now looking for a skilled in house event specialist to plan, organise and execute our presence to drive new business and strengthen our unique brand with our commercial team. 

The ideal candidate is meticulous and organised. You will be able to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption. There will be travel involved both nationally and internationally for these events We operate a hybrid working place; we would ideally be looking at person to come to our Wallingford site once a week (unless at an event). Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role, and the successful person must be based in the UK. 

Responsibilities

  • To lead and oversee Dexory’s annual exhibition programme covering conferences, seminars, sponsorship, hospitality, trade exhibitions and external conferences. This will include, but not limited to ensure delivered on time and within budget:
    • Good understanding of logistic planning from booking, paperwork and coordination with exhibition organisers for Dexory’s presence
    • Coordination of stand design and build along with relevant messaging and graphic design preparation
    • Coordinating with relevant internal teams; including rotas, staff briefings, flight & accommodation management
    • Prepare / pack all necessary collateral and giveaways for each event
    • Oversee running of exhibition; including setup and breakdown (where required)
  • Invite organisation and liaison with sales and customers (where appropriate) and event communications to ensure a great experience for our visitors.
  • To continually identify industry events to potential opportunities that will contribute towards marketing plans and objectives, continuing looking to make ongoing improvements.
  • Lead the measurement and analysis to gauge effectiveness of the event programme against marketing plans and objectives.
  • Develop campaigns to advertise and promote Dexory’s participation through online and offline channels.
  • Plan, develop and project manage Dexory’s owned events, from managing themes/topics,  sourcing conference speakers, venue management, and overall deliverance of the event(s).
  • Occasional support to People team for internal events and activities.

What we're looking for in you:

You’re a fit for this role if you are passionate about delivering exceptional marketing events and comfortable rolling up your sleeves. In addition, you should also possess:

  • Experience in a similar B2B in house role is essential; you will have a proven track record of delivering successful exhibitions and events both in-person and virtual.
  • Experienced in planning and delivering multiple, complex events; from large exhibitions in different geographies, to inhouse conferences/events and smaller more personalised events to drive demand.
  • Experience of managing and working with a wide range of event suppliers, including onsite and external contractors.
  • Event budget management experience.
  • Health & Safety management experience, including writing risk assessments.
  • An analytical and data-driven mindset – comfortable using analytics to measure success of any event activity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ask questions and track down answers with confidence, and lead projects/programs with minimal direction.
  • A full UK driving licence and own transport is an advantage.
