As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will take full ownership of building and growing our business in the German market, with the potential to expand your responsibility across the broader DACH region. You will develop the territory from the ground up, create your own pipeline, and lead complex cybersecurity sales cycles from initial engagement through negotiation and close.
This is a high-impact role for a genuine hunter who combines strong self-sourcing capabilities, disciplined sales execution, and established relationships within the German cybersecurity ecosystem.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Own the German Market: Take full responsibility for new business growth across Germany, with the potential to expand your scope across DACH.
- Build the Territory: Develop and execute a clear territory plan, including account mapping, target prioritization, pipeline creation, partner engagement, and strategic account penetration.
- Generate Your Own Pipeline: Proactively hunt, prospect, and create opportunities across enterprise accounts without relying primarily on SDR-, marketing-, or partner-generated leads.
- Win New Enterprise Customers: Break into strategic accounts and build trusted relationships with CISOs, security executives, and other key decision-makers.
- Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Lead the full sales process from first engagement through discovery, evaluation, business case development, procurement, legal, negotiation, and close.
- Engage Multiple Stakeholders: Navigate buying committees involving CISOs, SecOps, SOC teams, detection engineering, procurement, legal, and executive leadership.
- Apply Structured Qualification: Use a consistent methodology such as MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities, identify risks, build champions, and drive deals forward.
- Leverage the Partner Ecosystem: Build and activate relationships with channel partners, resellers, MSSPs, and security consulting organizations to create and accelerate opportunities.
- Deliver Predictable Results: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining personal accountability for pipeline coverage and revenue outcomes.
- Maintain Forecasting Discipline: Provide accurate forecasts and maintain complete, reliable pipeline and opportunity data in Salesforce.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and leadership to win strategic business and support long-term customer success.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, enterprise software, or SaaS, including significant experience selling in Germany.
- A documented track record of achieving or exceeding quota and winning new enterprise customers in the German market.
- Strong self-sourcing and new-logo acquisition capabilities, with the ability to build pipeline independently.
- Experience managing complex cybersecurity sales cycles involving technical, commercial, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong cybersecurity market knowledge and experience selling to CISOs, SecOps leaders, SOC teams, and other senior security stakeholders.
- Established relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, resellers, MSSPs, and security consulting organizations in Germany.
- Practical experience using a structured qualification methodology such as MEDDPICC.
- Strong territory planning, opportunity management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Previous experience succeeding in a cybersecurity startup or scale-up environment.
- A competitive, driven, resilient, and highly accountable mindset.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and executive presence.
- Fluent German and English communication skills.
Flexible Employment Setup: This role will be offered through an employment arrangement outside our German legal entity, with full details shared during the interview process.
