Compliance Analyst

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst – Governance & Reporting will support the execution and maintenance of the governance framework within the Risk & Compliance function. This role is also responsible for producing high quality Board and compliance reporting, compiling data for AML questionnaires, supporting statutory audit and chairing regular SAR/FC oversight meetings. This is a hybrid work model (onsite 2-3 times per week), working hours Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm. 

Please note: For this position, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the country they apply to and be able to start and maintain employment without visa support from Convera.

You will be Responsible for:

  • Support the development and maintenance of core governance frameworks across the Compliance function.
  • Produce accurate, timely, and insightful compliance reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating committee meetings, including preparing materials/agendas, documenting outcomes, and ensuring follow up actions are completed.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure management and tracking, including updates, reviews, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Collate data from multiple sources to provide accurate input to AML questionnaires and Board reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data / information to enable regular SAR/FC oversight meetings, which you will chair.

You should apply if you have:

  • Thorough understanding and experience of governance frameworks and compliance reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience with payment products domestic and internationally; fintech experience preferred.
  • Experience in a role related to AML / Financial Crime / Compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, teams and jurisdictions.
  • Experience with compliance reporting and supporting audits .
  • Background in banking, auditing, financial crime, international business, or related fields, and knowledge of compliance regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of ethical judgement.
  • Ability to use technology (e.g. MS Office suite, search engines, reporting tools) and be particularly proficient in Microsoft Planner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams.
