Markets Compliance Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Markets Compliance professional with expertise in MIFID, EMIR, PRIIPS, PSD, and AMLD regulations to join our office in Prague, Czechia. Do you think you might be a good fit? Let’s have a look at the details!

What you will do?

  • Compliance Oversight: Conduct regular compliance testing and reporting to senior management. Identify and correct any breakdowns in controls within the derivatives process, and escalate breaches as necessary.
  • Derivatives Activity Management: Oversee forwards and options derivatives activities regulated under MiFID 2 and PSD 2. Administer training and ensure compliance with conduct risk processes.
  • Control Testing: Perform regular control checks to ensure local governance and support global testing functions.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Manage EMIR reporting for the UK and Europe, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Regulatory Watch: Monitor and anticipate new regulations and requirements, updating policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver MiFID training programs to staff.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

 What makes you the perfect candidate?

  • Educational Background: University degree with a proven track record in a large, multi-regional or multi-national financial or payment service business.
  • Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Financial Instruments requirements (MiFID), Markets Compliance issues, and related regulations.
  • Risk Management: Proficient in applicable risk management regulations within the banking/financial services industry, with experience managing regulatory exams being a strong plus.
  • Interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication in English
