QA Engineer

We are currently looking for a QA Engineer who will join our A-team and become a valuable member of Constructor family.
The Test Engineer is responsible for test automation for the Constructor Tech and will be working in a high intensity environment. He/She will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, deploying, maintenance and troubleshooting through all layers of the Testing Development Life Cycle. The Test Engineer will work as part of the Constructor Tech QA Team and will have close communication with the Constructor Tech management leadership and be responsible for working with all application teams to facilitate the delivery needs of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the release and QA activities planning
- Mentor & guide the QA team members.
- Design, develop, maintain and improve test cases and test plans according to the specified requirements
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests
- Execute automated and manual tests;
- Report test results and defects;
- Analyse and troubleshoot issues in the software;
- Apply Black/White/Gray Box QA techniques
Requirements:
- Appropriate IT related degree or relevant experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Very good understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes.
- Ability to create process and lead testing initiatives and agenda;
- Perfect understanding of QA processes and methodologies – test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems and software development life cycle;
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Thinking outside of the box
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Independent, self-motivated, resourceful and able to get things done.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Agile based Software Development Processes
- Good knowledge of Linux and Networking
- Continuous integration tools and processes Technology Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Git, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, REST APIs, Docker or similar.
- Hands on and knowledge in any of Python, JavaScript, HTML, XML, REST, SOAP;
- Software development in test
