The QA Intern at Constructor Tech will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring software quality. This role involves assisting in the planning, designing, and execution of tests, documenting results, and supporting troubleshooting throughout the Testing Development Life Cycle. The intern will collaborate with QA, engineering, and product teams to enhance testing processes and contribute to software reliability.
Job Description
The QA Intern at Constructor Tech will support the quality assurance activities across our products by executing manual tests, validating new features, and helping ensure a high-quality user experience. This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on experience with real-world QA processes, tools, and collaboration within cross-functional teams. The intern will work closely with QA engineers, developers, and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web and API-based applications
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and regression scenarios before releases
- Identify, document, and track defects clearly and accurately
- Participate in requirement reviews and help identify test scenarios early
- Support different testing phases: functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved as expected
- Assist in maintaining and improving test documentation and test case coverage
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers
- Learn and apply QA best practices, tools, and processes under mentorship
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Interest in software quality, testing methodologies, and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze requirements and think from an end-user perspective
- Basic understanding of web applications and how they work (browser, APIs, etc.)
- Familiarity with bug tracking or test management tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to follow guidance
- Good communication skills and fluency in English
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum development processes
- Basic knowledge of SQL or databases
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman
- Experience with exploratory testing or usability testing
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience working on team or university projects
