Project Description

The goal is to join a self-organizing QA team and lead testing initiatives across a microservices-based platform. The project involves close collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will drive testing strategies, automation, and best practices across the full development lifecycle, with a strong focus on API and end-to-end testing.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement test strategies and test plans
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts (API, E2E, contract, performance)
  • Perform manual testing for complex scenarios
  • Implement test automation for microservices architecture
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify, track, and manage defects
  • Maintain test documentation (test cases, plans, reports)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
  • Mentor QA engineers and promote best practices
  • Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA / Test Automation
  • Strong experience with API testing and microservices-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with Python
  • Deep understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Experience with various testing types (E2E, API, contract, performance, UI)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP or similar)
  • Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Ability to create and maintain test documentation and strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • English level: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
