Data Analyst - Cape Town

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team here at ClearScore in Cape Town. You will join the team in delivering insight and analysis which allow ClearScore to rapidly scale and deliver a seamless experience for our users. Analysts play a key role within ClearScore, driving strategy and key decision-making, which ultimately benefits our users, partners, and other teams within the business.

ClearScore is both a free credit score and report service and the UK’s leading consumer credit marketplace. As a part of the team, you will play a key role in monitoring and reporting on marketing and acquisition performance; supporting the marketing and product teams to run experiments and improve UX and monetisation and supporting the leadership team in developing the overall strategy.
 
What you will be doing:
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring and reporting dashboards using SQL and Domo.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, providing insights into the performance of our various marketing channels.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of AB tests to enhance conversion rates across our website's landing pages.
  • Lead in-depth analytics projects, leveraging data to uncover opportunities and address complex business challenges.
  • Support different squads by conducting analyses crucial for launching new features, enhancing existing ones, and driving growth across verticals.
Skills we'd love you to have
  • You must possess SQL and Excel skills. Knowledge of dbt, python, and analytical tools such as Amplitude is a plus
  • Experience using Domo or other data visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Strong quantitative and numerical skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload and that of your team
  • You have a desire to learn and enjoy working collaboratively, with a desire to contribute to our culture.

Our Hybrid Model
