We're looking for a Android Engineer to join DriveScore, a fast-growing scale-up business within the ClearScore Group. DriveScore’s mission is to disrupt the car insurance market by making it more transparent, accessible, and user-centric than ever before. Leveraging cutting-edge telematics technology and data analytics, DriveScore provides users with personalised car insurance offers and insights, helping people make informed decisions about their car insurance needs.
You will be joining a team of talented engineers from around the world, working in an interdisciplinary squad on the DriveScore app. You will develop experiences that are as beautiful and visually complex as they are helpful and optimised.
Skills we'd love you to have:
- End-to-end delivery of fully-fledged commercial apps
- Good knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
- Good understanding of design patterns & Object Oriented Programming
- Good knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices In-depth experience of working with RESTful APIs
- Hands on experience with UI/Unit Testing
- Good knowledge of version control using Git and Gitflow
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborative tools (e.g. Jira)
- Understanding of build processes and CI tooling (e.g. Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of other related tech stacks, such as web or backend
- Experience with various Dependency Injection libraries (e.g. Koin, Dagger, Hilt)
- Experience working with multi-module projects
