About The Role 💻
We’re looking for a Senior Presales Specialist to join our Solutions team. You will play a critical role in helping us achieve new business, and upsell within existing clients.
You’ll leverage your expertise in Asset Management and ESG to address complex sustainability needs, using Clarity AI’s data management and AI capabilities to develop tailored client proposals. Working closely with Account Executives, you’ll drive Clarity AI’s growth strategy by aligning client goals with our technology, translating sustainability issues into solutions, and staying informed on key industry trends affecting financial institutions.
What You’ll Be Doing 🚀
As a Senior Presales Specialist, you will serve as the subject-matter expert on Clarity AI offerings, taking ownership of growth and revenue generation through strategic sales efforts.
- Focusing on Client Engagement: Collaborating directly with prospects and clients to develop tailored, value-driven proposals, gaining a deep understanding of their sustainability challenges to create proposals aligned with their unique objectives.
- Sales Team Collaboration: Working closely with the sales team to refine proposals, ensuring they address client pain points and support strategic goals.
- Advisory on Sustainability: Leveraging Clarity AI’s research and insights to guide clients in addressing sustainability requirements using our solutions.
- Roadmap Communication: Updating clients and teams on product roadmap changes, aligning expectations with evolving client needs.
- Trial Qualification and Execution: Leading comprehensive trial qualification processes, establishing clear success criteria and ensuring the trial progresses successfully to completion.
- Training sales teams on Clarity AI’s solutions and sustainability trends, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Clarity AI’s datasets, technology, and features, positioning as a resource for clients and internal teams.
- Creating strong collaborative relationships across matrixed functions (including Product, Marketing, Market Development, Account Management, and external partners), providing insights to Product and R&D teams, sharing client feedback and competitive insight, and staying current on sustainability trends, standards, and regulations affecting financial institutions.

What You’ll Need 👀
- 5+ years of relevant presales experience, with a strong sales track record, particularly with large institutional clients
- Hands-on experience selling to asset managers, asset owners, and/or wealth managers.
- Direct experience selling ESG solutions in areas relevant to Clarity AI (e.g., ESG Regulation, ESG Risks, Climate, Biodiversity, and Nature), with experience across integration modes like API and data feeds
- Exceptional presentation skills, with fluency in English, and ability to influence clients and stakeholders
- Strong active listening and interpersonal abilities to foster client relationships
- Creative problem solver with the ability to develop solutions in complex situations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adjust to changing demands and coordinate multiple competing priorities
