About the team
The marketing department is playing a significant role within the organization to achieve our ambitious growth plans. In recent years, we have been modernizing our operations and technology stack. We are constantly embracing modern digital marketing activities.
We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to oversee this development, help choose the right tools, handle agency relationships and help the team utilize digital marketing tactics. The ideal candidate is a T-Shaped person, with deep, hands on experience in at least one key area of digital marketing (ie. Web Analytics, SEM, Marketing Automation, PPC) but also sufficient working knowledge of other areas to manage these with other team members and/or agencies. They should have a good understanding of marketing technologies, tactics and how to optimize based on data.
This role will have a major impact on how we develop our marketing activities, from choosing tools to agencies and operating procedures - what you do will matter!

About your responsibilities
- Support digital marketing planning - our digital marketing manager will play an active role in creating the digital strategy for the company with the CMO and Marketing Director on yearly and quarterly basis, and align the strategic plans with the marketing team.
- Executing digital campaigns - this role will be the owner of the execution of the digital strategy, partnering with other marketing team members to design and implement lead generation and nurture campaigns. All third party paid channels will be managed by this role, including but not limited to Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaigns, review sites and content syndication sites.
- Collaboration - As a central role within the marketing team, the digital manager will have to work in partnership with the creative team to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for public-facing communications, create campaigns to promote content, allocate budget and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create appropriate copy and visual content.
- Leads monitoring - Planning and execution is not complete without keeping an eye on the results, so this role is required to check MQL generation regularly, including quantity and quality, their correct attribution and allocation to sales managers, for digital channels and products.
- Finding new channels - Chemaxon traditionally has some digital channels to advertise on, but these might be extended if budget or goal requires it.
- Overseeing website development - we have a web developer in the marketing team, this position will be responsible to manage incremental website development plans, large website changes are outside of the scope of this role
Experience, skills and knowledge you should bring to us
- Has a holistic understanding of the modern B2B digital marketing landscape and enough knowledge to coordinate the efforts of different subdomains
- Has deep, hands on, operational knowledge of at least one subdomain of digital marketing (ie. Web Analytics, SEM, Marketing Automation, PPC)
- In-depth knowledge of metrics and how to use them to optimize digital marketing activities
- Knows their way around the tools of the trade: CRM, CMS, marketing automation, social listening tools, web analytics tools, common PPC platforms
- Has at least basic understanding of digital marketing activities: organic social media use, nurture campaigns, SEO (content and technical), content syndication, campaign optimization based on metrics
- Experience leading cross-departmental initiatives
- Can work with agencies to deliver projects in high quality and on time, but isn’t hesitant to roll-up their sleeves and “get the work done” when needed
- Fluent in English
