Senior Product Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Product Marketing Manager to help us shape the way businesses communicate with their customers. Working closely with the Product and GTM teams, you will drive the adoption and growth of our platform by deeply understanding the needs and challenges of our IBP, craft market-winning messaging and positioning that highlights our differentiation, influence the product roadmap and empower our sales, success and marketing teams to effectively convey the value of our solutions and use cases (with a customer-first mindset).

What you would need for this cross-functional role:

  • Ability to effectively and creatively marketing our platform and features externally. We need someone who has a spark towards selling and communicating a WhatsApp marketing platform, because the channel and our product itself are dynamic and intuitive.
  • End-to-end mindset towards marketing content and asset creation – we need someone who can get their hands dirty (with a strategic mindset) to independently own execution and provide content and assets for the GTM teams. A background in content, digital marketing or social media is a bonus.
  • Evangelist and public speaker who is excited to host events, speak at webinars, lead workshops internally and for customers and start to be seen as a recognisable face in the industry for WhatsApp and for charles.
  • Expert in connecting market, industry and customer insights to our product roadmap and enabling the sales & success teams.
  • Able to influence stakeholders of different roles effectively to facilitate and steer outcomes across functions.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Go-to-Market strategy and Product launches

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products, features and updates.
  • Work closely with the GPMs to lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring all teams are aligned and equipped for success.
  • Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns to drive demand and acquire new customers.

Product positioning, IBPs & Competitor research

  • Define and communicate clear and compelling product positioning that aligns with our target market, business objectives and value across channels.
  • Conduct competitor research, monitor and analyze competitors’ strategies and products to identify areas of opportunity and differentiation.
  • Research, develop and refine our Buyer Persona and Jobs-to-be-done messaging to guide marketing and sales efforts.

GTM and Customer Enablement

  • Equip GTM teams with the necessary tools, collateral, presentations, competitive intelligence and feature setup to effectively sell the platform.
  • Work closely with the product team to organize educational sessions for the GTM teams.
  • Own the product release notes and customer newsletter for on-going rollout of product features and updates to ensure customers are empowered to use our platform effectively.
  • Lead the roll out of our customer help center and ensure that it is updated and optimized based on customer needs.

Content Creation and Product Evangelism

  • Independently develop high-quality marketing content including WhatsApp flows that highlight the benefits and features of our product - in a creative and compelling way.
  • Own, refine and proactively drive all our product marketing assets such as website product pages, WhatsApp templates, slides, documents and other marketing material.
  • Support the leadership and marketing team with the narrative, presentations and content for events and webinars.
  • Proactively represent the company and speak at industry events, webinars and other public platforms.

YOU'LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND VALUES

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in product marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in B2B SaaS companies preferrably early - mid-stage startups. Industry experience in CRM software companies is a bonus.
  • Skills: Proven track record of owning product go-to-market strategy and execution - managing all marketing activities and content for product launches.
  • Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. German is a plus. Excited to speak in public and at events representing the company.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
