Planning Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for planning and scheduling all vehicles under the ‘rules’ optimize assets and foresee and circumvent bottlenecks and load schedules in the dashboard so that vehicles reflect the plan. The Ops Coordinator also develops and maintains all B2B SOPs and contingency plans, and operationalizing contributes to the HSSEQMS and OES.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the Operations Master Plan
- Creating the B2C schedule and maintaining it in real time to reflect changes including B2B petrol deals
- Creating and maintaining the B2B plan (diesel)
- Supporting Operations in licensing/permits/passes for Pilots Trucks to complete upon deals.
- Periodically reviewing the arrangements set, and amending schedules to optimize assets.
- Creating robust B2B SOPs and updating in event of changes.
- Building and maintaining relationships with HR and Lead Truck Specialists
Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure schedule remains accurate
- Quick action taker – schedules updated in real time so they remain constantly accurate
- Good interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Driven personality and follows up to enable operations preparedness for executing deals
- Previous experience as Fleet Supervisor desired
- Excellent planning and scheduling skills
- Ensure Fleetio is updated with truck details, documents and reminders
