About this role in the team:

The Cybersecurity Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the design and implementation of security tools, systems, and solutions in collaboration with the IT, DevOps and Engineering teams, ensuring their continuous operation. The Analyst will proactively identify anomalous behavior, define thresholds and perform internal and external threat-hunting. Experience with tools such as SentinelOne, JAMF, Okta, SIEM, macOS will be advantageous, along with cloud security tools for Amazon AWS, Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Cybersecurity Architect, configure, implement and maintain security and IT tools in the environment.
• Collaborate closely with the IT, DevOps and Engineering teams to implement effective security tools, systems, and solutions, leveraging technical expertise and knowledge.
• Take ownership of assigned security tools and systems, ensuring their smooth and optimal operation.
• Support the remediation coordination of detected vulnerabilities and issues in systems, collaborating with system owners, defining remediation plans and following up until the successful resolution.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including clear and detailed diagrams, workflows, and procedures for the assigned systems. Ensure the documentation remains up to date and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that the configurations and workflows of the assigned systems align with company policies, standards, certifications, and client contract requirements. Maintain a strong focus on compliance and security best practices, contributing to audits and assessments as needed.
• Utilize analytical skills to analyze logs, information, data, and threat intelligence from various sources as part of incident detection, investigation, resolution, and reporting. Participate in incident response teams to implement effective measures to prevent future incidents.
• Strictly adhere to approved team and company processes and procedures, especially the Incident Management and Change Management lifecycles. Follow established protocols to manage incidents efficiently and implement changes seamlessly.

What we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity or IT, with a strong focus on technical aspects.
• Knowledge of security products, including antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, logging, server hardening, configuration management, data loss prevention, and encryption. Experience, knowledge or exposure to Crowdstrike, Rapid 7, Okta, Onelogin, JAMF, macOS, Google Workspace, and Amazon AWS security practices will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), including platform specifics, threat intelligence, prevention and removal, as well as security incident response and management (SIR/SIM).
• Understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) principles, including digital investigations and forensics.
• Knowledge of modern operating systems, databases, directory services, authentication, asset management, scripting languages, and concepts such as clustering and high availability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about cybersecurity issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
