As our People Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind our HR strategy and the architect of our company culture. This is not just a role; it’s an opportunity to shape the very heartbeat of Buynomics. You will lead the charge in overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with a sharp focus on enhancing performance and driving employee development. Your influence will extend across the organization as you collaborate with department heads, mentor our future leaders, and implement innovative HR processes that propel our rapid growth. Your deep understanding of German labor law, combined with your experience in dynamic startup or scale-up tech environments, will be key as we continue to expand and make our mark on the industry.
What you'll do:
- Own the Employee Journey: Be the champion of our HR lifecycle, ensuring every touchpoint—from onboarding to offboarding—enhances performance and fuels growth. You’ll drive employee development, creating a workplace where talent can thrive.
- Innovate HR Processes: Lead the charge in streamlining and automating HR functions. You'll continuously seek out ways to improve efficiency, foster a better employee experience, and scale our HR practices to support our growing team.
- Manage Documentation and Compliance: Take ownership of all HR documentation and paperwork, ensuring meticulous record-keeping for employee files, contracts, and legal documents. Ensure that all processes are compliant with German and Spanish labor laws and best practices, serving as the go-to expert for regulatory requirements.
- Handle Operational Tasks: Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including payroll administration, benefits management, and employee inquiries. Your attention to detail and operational efficiency will be key in maintaining smooth HR functions.
- Cultivate Culture: Be a cultural leader, fostering an inclusive, vibrant workplace where every team member feels valued and inspired to contribute to our collective success.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of HR/Operations Expertise: Strong understanding of HR processes and German labor law.
- Startup/Scale-Up Experience: Proven track record in a startup or scale-up tech environment in Germany or similar fast-paced environments
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in German and English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Agile Mindset: A proactive approach driven by a genuine passion for people and organizational culture, thriving in environments with high levels of ambiguity and change.
