Overview:
Lead the acquisition and strategic management of a reliable third-party and owned fleet to support scalable, efficient, and cost-effective material delivery operations across key regions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence and aligning fleet capabilities with the company’s growth objectives.
What You will do (Responsibilities) :
- Fleet Partner Acquisition: Identify, onboard, and manage fleet partners, including trucks, flatbeds, bulkers, winch trucks (for blocks), and other essential equipment used in cement, steel and building materials industries.
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements with transport vendors, ensuring alignment with operational needs and budget constraints.
- Fleet Optimization: Monitor fleet utilization, assess performance metrics, and implement cost-efficiency measures to maximize operational productivity.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory, and industry standards, minimizing risks while maintaining operational reliability.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with transporters to secure consistent fleet availability and foster mutual growth opportunities.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Collaborate with operations teams to gather and analyze transporter data through platforms like the TRK app by BRKZ to inform strategic fleet management decisions.
- Regional Coordination: Address fleet challenges all over saudi.
Who You are (Qualifications) :
- Relevant Experience: 3–5 years of experience in fleet acquisition, logistics, or transportation management, particularly within the construction or industrial sectors.
- Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and stakeholders, securing favorable terms while fostering collaboration.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of transport regulations and industry norms, including safety and compliance standards.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to create and execute strategies that enhance fleet performance and meet company objectives.
- Vendor Management Skills: Experience in managing diverse transportation vendors, including those specializing in bulkers, flatbeds, and winch trucks.
- Language Skills: Arabic proficiency is preferred; candidates with intermediate Arabic skills will also be considered.
Additional Insights:
- Target Backgrounds: Ideal candidates may come from transportation or construction logistics companies. Experience with industrial logistics companies is also valuable.
- Operational Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with the daily operations team, across all regions
