Associate Director, Client Planning

What's the role
You are the client planning lead, responsible for bringing together media channels to deliver cohesive, high-quality plans. You ensure strategy is translated into clear, actionable outputs, working closely with Practice and Strategy teams to drive performance and measurable business growth.
What you do
- Translate strategy into clear, actionable cross-channel plans, ensuring flawless execution across clients.
- Lead tactical planning: build media plans and budget scenarios for your clients.
- Orchestrate inputs from Practice Teams, managing timelines, deliverables and alignment.
- Run internal stand-ups and status meetings to keep teams on track.
- Turn data and insights into cohesive, client-ready narratives.
- Identify and drive media opportunities and testing initiatives across channels.
- Implement structured experimentation programmes, developing hypotheses for teams to test.
Who you are
- 5+ years experience delivering cross-channel media plans for complex clients.
- Strong understanding of how media planning translates into performance.
- Confident in building detailed plans and working through budget scenarios.
- Highly organised with strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Data-driven thinker, able to turn analysis into clear actions and stories.
- Collaborative operator, comfortable working across multiple specialist teams.
- Clear and confident communicator, both internally and with clients.
