Your Mission 💪

You’ll be part of boxxe’s finance team, using your technical expertise and communication skills to maintain a strong control environment. As the Interim Project Accountant, you’ll support the Group through a period of significant change by leading key financial projects. These include managing ID facility reporting until a Treasury Manager is appointed, supporting the rollout of a new OCR system in Accounts Payable, reviewing financial controls and processes (including Ecommerce payments), and contributing to other ad-hoc initiatives.

What you’ll be doing 🎯

  • Management and combination/integration of new invoice discount facilities (boxxe and CAE), associated reporting and cashflow forecasting. Ensure that processes are clearly defined and documented to ensure a smooth handover to the Treasury Manager once appointed;
  • Support the Transactional Finance Manager and Accounts Payable team to implement a new invoice processing system, acting as the Project Manager between the Finance team, external partner, and Internal Systems team.
  • Support the Credit Control team in reviewing existing processes, simplify where possible and help drive cash collection and reduced customer queries.
  • Review and document all financial controls and processes (including review of pour ERP system NetSuite). Work closely with the Finance team to then identify areas of improvement and ensure that best practices are being followed

What experience we think you’ll need 🚀

  • Practice qualified (ACA or similar) with one or more year’s industry experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading projects and the ability to build strong relationships throughout the business.
  • Experience in process improvement, automating processes where possible, and systems implementation.
  • Good knowledge of FRS102 and the ability to apply in practical situations.
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment, work well as part of a team, and have good collaborative skills. Proactive and able to prioritise a variety of demands under time pressure and work flexibly to meet demands.
  • A great people person with an enthusiasm for working with others and strong communication skills with the ability to present and simplify financial information.
  • Strong/Advanced Excel skills
  • Previous exposure to NetSuite is preferred but not essential
