The role

Working closely with our "Front-of-House" (FOH) Operations Specialist, you'll be the reliable hands behind the scenes: keeping the numbers right, the rules followed, and the studio teams supported. It's real, hands-on responsibility from day one — and the better you get, the more you'll own.

This role is perfect for a structured, detail-oriented student who enjoys working with data, takes pride in getting things right, and wants genuine operational responsibility at a company that's growing fast.

FOH is the team that welcomes our members with a smile and helps create a seamless studio experience. From the moment someone walks through the door to the start of every class, they play a key role in making our studios feel welcoming and run smoothly. Behind them sits a small central Operations team that makes sure our studios are properly staffed, everyone is paid correctly, and we follow the internal scheduling rules — across all of our German cities. That's the team you'd join.

What you'll own

FOH central operations
The day-to-day engine that keeps our studios staffed, paid, and compliant.

• Payroll: each month, follow a clear process to make sure everyone's worked hours are correct, and prepare the final figures for our HR team to pay out.
• Contracts: keep employee changes — new joiners, leavers, and changes to hours or contracts — accurate and up to date everywhere, and check that change requests are complete before they move forward.
• Compliance: run regular checks so our scheduling stays within German labor-law limits, and flag anything that needs attention.

FOH data & analytics
Turning our operational data into a clear picture of how we're performing.

• Support our monthly business review: pull the numbers, build the first-pass analysis of our efficiency metrics (staffing, cost, utilisation), and prepare review-ready tables, charts, and commentary.
• Build and maintain the dashboards and control checks that show each studio where they stand — so teams can stay on track themselves.
• Answer data requests from other teams, double-check the results, and flag anything that looks off.

The go-to contact for our local teams
Be the reliable point of contact who keeps things from slipping through the cracks.

• Be the first person Studio Managers and City Leads come to for everyday questions on scheduling, pay, and process.
• Keep tasks moving and nudge on anything overdue, and keep our internal playbooks, trackers, and shared files accurate and current.

And because you'll be closest to where the work happens, you'll be our eyes on the ground — spotting what's clunky or manual and suggesting better ways of working that shape how we continuously improve.

What you'll learn

• Genuine ownership of operations — with room to grow into more analytical, higher-ownership work as you master the systems.
• How data drives operational and financial decisions at a scaling, VC-backed company.
• How German labor-law compliance actually works in practice, in a real shift-based business.
• Hands-on experience with a modern people-operations toolkit: Quinyx, Leapsome, Asana, Confluence, and BigQuery.

What you bring

• Currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor or Master) in business, economics, data/analytics, HR, or a related field, with at least 12 months of availability.
• Confidence with Excel and Google Sheets (filtering, lookups, formulas) and genuine comfort working with data.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, organized approach.
• Clear written communication and a helpful, service-minded attitude when supporting others.
• Fluency in English (required); German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Prior working-student or internship experience in operations, HR/People, or analytics.
• Exposure to scheduling, payroll, or workforce tools (Quinyx or similar), Asana, or Confluence.
• SQL / BigQuery knowledge.
• A basic understanding of German labor law.
• A background in hospitality, fitness, delivery, or restaurant operations.
• An interest in People Ops or operations as a career direction.
