WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE ROLE

We are bringing BEAT81 to Nürnberg for the first time and we're looking for the Studio Manager who will build it with us. There is no existing team in the city yet and no City Lead on the ground. You will be the face of BEAT81 in Nürnberg: you hire and lead your first front of house (FOH) team, you're there for the launch, and you own the whole studio operation locally, with our HQ team supporting you remotely from Berlin.

WHAT THE ROLE REALLY LOOKS LIKE

You run the whole studio: your team, the schedule, the numbers, compliance and the building. Most of your week is on the studio floor with members, coaches and your team, plus desk time for scheduling, HR and your monthly business review. Our studios are open 365 days a year, so weekends and public holidays are part of the rota. You work front desk shifts yourself, and in a busy month, around the launch or when the team is sick, you step in more.

YOU WILL

• Build your team from scratch. Hire, onboard and support your first FOH team, so they live BEAT81's hospitality standards and feel valued and clear on what is expected.
• Launch the studio. Be on the ground before and during the opening, and help make BEAT81 known in Nürnberg.
• Lead by example. Be visible in the studio, work front desk shifts yourself every week and step in when your team needs you.
• Create a welcoming experience. Help your team build a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every member feels seen.
• Keep the studio at its best. Look after cleanliness, equipment, inventory and orders, so the studio is safe, hygienic and inviting.
• Own the schedule. Plan FOH shifts so hours are used well, demand is covered and your team has stability.
• Own the numbers. Track your studio's results, including team cost per participant and how many first timers come back, and present them in a monthly business review.

YOU HAVE

• 3 or more years of customer service experience, ideally leading a team, and you stay calm and friendly under pressure.
• Real independence. You take ownership, make decisions on the spot and know when to ask for help, even when your manager is not in the same city.
• Strong organisation. You juggle many tasks and priorities, and every day looks different.
• An eye for detail, from how a member is greeted to how the studio looks.
• Clear communication with very different people: your team, coaches and members.
• Fluent English. German is a strong plus, ideally B2 or above, to connect with more of our members.
• A hands on attitude. You jump in wherever needed.
• Flexibility on your schedule, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, middays and late evenings.
• You live in Nürnberg or the area, or will by your start date.

NICE TO HAVE

• Launch or opening experience: you have opened a studio, venue, store or restaurant before.
• Fitness passion: you genuinely enjoy fitness and it rubs off on your team and members.
• Problem solving: you think fast in busy moments and keep standards high.
