Scope of the role:

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Lead to drive our global marketing efforts. The Marketing Lead will be the sole marketing professional within our organization, responsible for both formulating and executing the marketing strategy. This individual will leverage their expertise in financial services and crypto to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with institutional clients, exceptional strategic vision, and the ability to partner with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders to deliver marketing initiatives.

Jobs to be Done:

Immediate priorities will be to outline the 2025 marketing program for B2C2 and support the delivery of near-term marketing deliverables.

Role and responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Advise management on the strategic direction of the company’s marketing efforts.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with corporate and business-level objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies.
  • Develop and deliver performance tracking of marketing activities to present to management.

Thought Leadership:

  • Manage insight creation, utilising knowledge within the firm to create high-quality content (including blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies, among others) that positions the company as a thought leader in the digital asset space.

Event and Conference Management:

  • Identify, plan, and manage the company’s participation in industry conferences and events.

Social Media and Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee the company’s social media presence and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Create and curate engaging content to increase brand visibility and engagement.

Product Marketing:

  • Develop and deliver presentations and materials that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition and product offering.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Partner with sales and business development to develop and roll out multi-channel marketing campaigns in support of global client acquisition efforts.

Internal & External Communications:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the external PR firm to coordinate and manage external communications, including press releases and media relations.
  • Refine and enhance internal communication strategies to ensure alignment with external messaging and company objectives.

Brand Development:

Drive the development and implementation of the company’s brand vision, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in marketing within the financial services industry, with a preference for experience in the digital asset space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with institutional clients.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience marketing products and services to institutional clients.
  • An understanding of the current regulatory landscape surrounding digital assets.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
