We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Credit Control team as a Level 2 Apprentice. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop a career in finance while gaining hands-on experience and a nationally recognised qualification. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in monitoring customer accounts and outstanding balances.
- Contacting customers regarding overdue payments via phone and email.
- Helping to reconcile accounts and resolve queries efficiently.
- Supporting the preparation of reports on outstanding debts.
- Learning how to assess credit risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Providing general administrative support to the Credit Control team.
As a Credit Control Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team, ensuring that outstanding customer debts are managed effectively. You will gain valuable skills in credit management, customer service, and financial administration. Our apprenticeship roles require dedication, a love of learning, and a genuine aim to succeed. This is a permanent role, and the apprenticeship will support your learning and development. You might think being a car enthusiast is a must for this role, but that’s not the case!

What we're looking for
- Keen interest in finance, credit control, and customer service
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
Eligibility Criteria
- For this apprenticeship, you must not hold a qualification at level 2 or above in the same or similar subject (examples of this would be a Credit Control at level 2, HNC/D, foundation degree, degree etc.)
- You currently hold a Level 2/GCSE in English and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or above or will be willing to study these whilst completing your apprenticeship (subject to an entry test)
- You cannot be enrolled in any other full-time education
- You must have the right to work in the England and be a resident here for 3 years before the apprenticeship start date. If you are currently on a visa, this must be valid for the full length of the apprenticeship

We’re offering a salary of £24,570 plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.
You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve.
