Your mission as a Team Lead People Operations & Partnership

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Team Lead for People Operations & Partnerships to join our People Team, crafting unique employee experiences at Appinio that support our global growth.
As Team Lead, you’ll inspire a team of (Senior) People Operation Partners, turning routine HR tasks into seamless, high-quality experiences. From onboarding to off boarding, payroll to workplace management, you'll ensure the employee lifecycle runs smoothly, exceeding traditional HR expectations.
A key contributor to our distinctive culture, you’ll partner with leaders across the organisation to create global frameworks that streamline operations and enhance the employee experience.

About the team:
Our People Team takes a product mindset, focusing on transparency and collaboration. We aim to meet the needs of our customers—our employees—prioritising successful adoption over simply completing tasks. We’re trusted partners to the business and problem solvers company-wide.

This role reports to the Director of People & Culture.

  • Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and other departments to streamline people processes across the organization.
  • Act as a key member of the People Leadership team, driving frameworks for performance management, internal events, and workforce planning.

You will thrive in this role if

  • You have a Degree in Business, Economics, HR Management, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in People Operations.
  • You are an inspiring leader with 2+ years of people management experience, ideally in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • You bring expertise in operational People functions and a passion for driving HR innovation.
  • You bring strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to coach and support managers and senior leaders.
  • You are fluent in English (German a plus), with excellent communication skills.
  • You are organized, pragmatic, and empathetic, with a proactive, data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • You are hands-on, with a focus on building scalable processes and keeping stakeholders informed.

What’s in it for you?

  • Flexibility Policy - Our flexibility policy means there is no hard cap on the number of vacation days you can take.
  • Work-from-anywhere Policy - If you're based in the EU, you can work outside your country of residence for up to 180 days per year.
  • All the hardware you need and your own MacBook
  • If you are located in Hamburg or Berlin, you'll get a Deutschland ticket or access to a mobility budget with the NAVIT app to get you to and from the office space.

  • In case you’re located in one of the cities where most of our fellow Appinioneers are (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, or New York), you can get access to our Co-working spaces.

Kind reminder: Please ensure that your application is submitted in English.
