Your Role:

We are looking for a confident and client-focused Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join Apollo, supporting our Partner Syndicates. This is a high-profile role that combines financial insight with strong external stakeholder management, where your ability to build trust and articulate value will be key to success.

You will partner with Platform Partners and senior stakeholders to equip them with the tools and insights they need. Drawing on your corporate finance advisory experience, you will clearly communicate value drivers, address challenges openly, and strengthen lasting relationships that support long-term success.

Platform Partners provides bespoke third-party managing agency services tailored to meet business objectives, leveraging the expertise and capabilities of each party, and maximising the probability of delivering sustainable profits over the long term.

This is the ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing and engaging with stakeholders while applying FP&A knowledge in a practical, hands-on way.

What you will do:

  • Lead client-centric engagement with external platform partners, building trust across all levels of seniority
  • Provide clear and practical financial insights, focusing on value drivers and how they support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams to deliver syndicate business plans and performance reporting
  • Share challenges and opportunities openly with external partners, acting as a trusted business partner
  • Support the development of financial analysis and planning outputs, drawing on the team for technical modelling
  • Present financial performance to senior stakeholders with clarity and impact
  • Contribute to improvements in planning and reporting processes to enhance client value.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong track record in managing external stakeholders with confidence and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build lasting relationships and articulate value clearly
  • Background in finance advisory or similar client-facing finance environment
  • Solid FP&A experience, with ability to understand and explain outputs 
  • Experience in business partnering, ideally within a Lloyd’s or London Market environment
  • Confidence in presenting and discussing financial performance with external and internal senior stakeholders
