Enterprise Account Business Analyst
Who we are
Apollo is a specialised, independent (re)insurer operating at Lloyd’s, established in 2009 with a clear ambition: to deliver high-quality underwriting, service and partnerships in a market that values expertise and trust.
The name Apollo reflects our origins. Inspired by founding investor Neil Armstrong — the first person to walk on the moon — the business was built with the same pioneering mindset. Alongside Jim Hays, Neil saw an opportunity to create a different kind of Lloyd’s platform: focused, agile and built around people.
Since launch, Apollo has evolved into a diversified insurance group. Today, our offering spans traditional and specialty lines through Apollo 1969, innovative sharing-economy solutions via ibott 1971, and managing agency services for Platform Partner Syndicates at Lloyd’s.
With a global team of more than 300 professionals, we continue to grow with purpose, combining underwriting excellence, innovation and collaboration to support our mission of enabling a more resilient and sustainable world.
“We attract and retain diverse talent by creating an inclusive environment where people are empowered to grow, succeed and do their best work. By fostering excellence and forward-thinking, we aim to enable a resilient and sustainable world.” David Ibeson, Group CEO
Your Role
The Enterprise Account Business Analyst role provides dedicated support to ibott’s Enterprise Accounts, larger, strategically significant clients requiring tailored underwriting, structured performance management, and a consistent service approach.
As the Enterprise Accounts portfolio continues to scale, with a clear ambition to build a cohort of c.10 accounts exceeding $10m, this role plays a central part in enabling structured servicing, coordinated delivery, and effective performance monitoring across the portfolio.
You will embed consistency and rigour across Enterprise Accounts by owning internal workflows, operating models, and coordination activity. This ensures senior underwriters, actuaries, and data scientists can focus on high-value underwriting decisions and strategic analysis, rather than operational administration.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain high-quality decks, briefing notes, and performance summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Track account-level deliverables and actions, ensuring follow-ups are completed and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate workflows across underwriting, actuarial, claims, and data teams to support underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio development.
- Build, or support the build of, dashboards and performance reporting packs, working closely with actuarial and data teams where required.
- Own and continuously refine internal workflows, including onboarding checklists, feedback loops, templates, recurring meetings, and data collection processes.
- Monitor progress against strategic priorities, including the Sustainable Business Framework (SBF) and related commitments.
- Where appropriate, organise and attend enterprise client meetings across claims, data, and underwriting on behalf of ibott.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in coordination, business analysis, or operational support within a complex, stakeholder-driven environment.
- Ability to design, embed, and maintain structured workflows, templates, trackers, and reporting tools.
- Confidence working across multiple teams and disciplines, with the ability to keep activity aligned and moving forward.
- Strong written and visual communication skills, with experience producing clear, concise materials for senior audiences.
- High attention to detail, with the discipline to track actions, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery against agreed priorities.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset aligned to Apollo’s values and commitment to service excellence.
What you’ll get in return
We offer a competitive and thoughtfully designed reward package that reflects the value of our people. This includes a fair and attractive salary, discretionary bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package - including 31 days’ annual leave, a non-contributory pension and private medical insurance.
