What a typical week might look like

You’ll be spending the majority of your time “on-tools”, this could be on a project from a range of sectors including finance, retail, hospitality, health or sports and you may work on a number of projects across a year. 

While no two teams work identically for those experienced with Agile methodologies, and Scrum more specifically, you’ll be familiar with many of the activities that take place; 

• Each day you’ll meet with your team to discuss the day’s tasks, where you need support and where you might support others
• You’ll be frequently refining upcoming work in conjunction with the rest of your team members including developers, testers, designers and product owners to ensure everyone understands what needs to be done and how
• Sprint planning, retrospectives and reviews may also take place during a given week and you’ll be an active contributor to all of them

Outside of these activities you’ll be completing tasks that span multiple functional areas of your app, participating in the technical design of the app with your platform lead, adapting existing solutions to apply them in new scenarios and reviewing your peer’s PRs.

You’ll be great for this if

• You are an experienced Flutter developer and have an understanding of;
• Best approaches to statement management
• Common tooling and dependencies
• How to ensure Widget trees remain readable
• Writing meaningful unit tests
• Accessibility support to improve usability for all people
• You have a good eye for quality and can consistently deliver tasks to the brief and designs to the agreed timelines
• You are a proactive communicator comfortable with working with other disciplines and liaising with our clients
• You are open to, or already have experience in, technologies beyond Flutter including native development or other cross platform frameworks
