About the role

Own and evolve our commercial systems ecosystem, ensuring our CRM, business applications, integrations, and automations operate reliably and scale with the business.

You'll design, build, and maintain the systems that connect our go-to-market teams, creating seamless data flows across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Product. Combining strong technical skills (Python, APIs, SQL) with CRM expertise (HubSpot), you'll develop integrations, automate business processes, improve data quality, and enable teams to work more efficiently through well-designed systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges through engineering rather than manual processes. You'll work across multiple stakeholders to design scalable solutions, maintain system reliability, and continuously improve our business infrastructure.

 

Your missions

CRM Architecture & Business Systems

  • Own the architecture, administration, and scalability of HubSpot, including lifecycle stages, custom objects, permissions, validation rules, workflows, and governance.
  • Design business processes that balance usability, automation, and data quality.
  • Manage system configuration while ensuring long-term maintainability.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.

Integrations & APIs

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between HubSpot and internal or third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, and middleware.
  • Develop Python services and scripts to automate business processes and synchronise data across systems.
  • Read API documentation, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement reliable integration patterns.
  • Continuously monitor, maintain, and improve integration reliability, observability, and error handling.

Automation & Process Engineering

  • Build automated workflows that eliminate manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement AI-powered automations where appropriate to streamline business processes.
  • Optimise cross-functional workflows spanning Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Ensure automation remains reliable through monitoring, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Data Quality & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain high-quality CRM data through validation rules, automated enrichment, deduplication, and governance.
  • Design processes that ensure business data remains accurate, consistent, and actionable.
  • Support reporting by ensuring data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve system bottlenecks quickly.

Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  • Own Python codebases supporting business operations, writing clean, tested, maintainable code.
  • Use SQL to investigate data issues, validate integrations, and support operational reporting.
  • Apply engineering best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and deployment.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to simplify architecture, reduce technical debt, and improve system performance.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, CRM/RevOps Engineering, or analytics/operations roles in SaaS, high-growth tech, marketplaces, or other revenue-driven environments.
  • Python development: testing, deployment and codebase refactoring. Comfortable owning an app end-to-end, not just contributing to it.
  • SQL proficiency, plus git / GitHub and standard delivery processes.
  • HubSpot expert: deep, hands-on experience architecting workflows, custom objects, automations and API integrations.
  • API literacy: you understand how systems connect, can read API docs and design integration flows.
  • Strong understanding of subscription revenue metrics: MRR, Sales Velocity, CAC, LTV, NRR, payback period.
  • Experience operating across multiple geographies or segments with different maturity levels.
  • Fluency in English and at least one of: French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese.

Strong plus

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase).
  • Familiarity with conversational intelligence platforms and AI-powered sales tools.
  • Background in high-volume SaaS, hospitality tech, or marketplaces.
  • Experience integrating Customer Success operations alongside Sales operations.
  • Experience building performance frameworks in B2B SaaS.
