About the Role

The Senior Customer Marketing Specialist plays a key role in connecting customers to value through clear communication, product education, and growth-driven initiatives. Brings both strategic and technical expertise to the team and serves as a go-to resource for less experienced colleagues. Acts as a proactive agent of change, driving measurable improvements and meaningful results.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success teams, this role ensures that high-quality content is delivered across various platforms, such as email, in-app notifications and help center articles, and even our AI chatbot.

The Customer Marketing Specialist monitors the performance of individual campaigns and Help Center articles, but also does advanced reporting and proactively identifies relevant risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement launch plans for key products and services: designing the value proposition, positioning, messaging strategies, and communications that optimize for product adoption.
  • Write, design and send key communications and campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Own (and contribute to) strategic cross-functional projects.
  • Integral in the definition of high-level communication and customer education strategies and playbooks.

Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience in Customer Marketing, Product Marketing and/or Communications at a SaaS company, building campaigns that optimize for a goal, running experiments, and reporting on performance.
  • Experience designing and implementing product GTM strategies that drive product usage and adoption.
  • Technical expertise: Heavy expert at multiple CRM or marketing automation tools (Customer.io and Hubspot are a plus).
  • Very strong copywriting skills.
  • Brand-obsessed: Able to adapt to the visual and verbal brand guidelines, consistently making the brand shine through.
  • Detail-oriented: Have exceptionally high standards for quality and customer experience, resulting in beautiful deliverables and delightful customer experiences.
  • Strong project management skills: reliably delivers own projects. Able to effectively coordinate and deliver cross-functional projects.
