To care for this value, we are searching for an IP Manager, who supports our IP team as an ambitious, talented, honest and pragmatic team player being ready to go unusual and paths and thrilled to join our full-speed scale-up journey. Your responsibilities

  • You manage IP enforcement across all our intellectual property rights, identifying and investigating infringing products or activities and developing strategies to resolve issues efficiently
  • You protect our brand on e-commerce platforms by monitoring online marketplaces and social media, collaborating with external partners and the Sales team as needed
  • You optimize processes and workflows for effective enforcement of IP rights
  • You build connections with customs authorities and e-commerce platforms worldwide
  • You contribute to the progress and development of an enforceable IP portfolio consisting of patents, trademarks, designs and copyrights
  • You will contribute value to the planning of the company's IP portfolio and overall IP strategy
  • You support managing our external expert lawyers and law firms to ensure that air up is protected by world-class IP coverage
  • You continuously support optimizing existing and create new scaling processes
  • You are responsible for the careful maintenance of our internal documentation system

 

This is you 

  • You have experience in IP management or brand protection in an international context
  • You have experience as an in-house IP expert and successfully obtained a qualification in science or in law
  • You understand the business-context of IP and can add ideas for the long term strategy for our company
  • You have strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in IP infringement data
  • You have basic project management skills to organize arising operational tasks relating to the day-to-day functioning of our IP portfolio and department
  • You have experience working with custom authorities and patent offices such as the EPO, DPMA, WIPO, USPTO and other relevant offices
  • You are precise, you work in a structured fashion, and you are used to meeting deadlines and manage processes
  • You fit in our team with a high level of commitment and the ability to work under pressure, a confident attitude and strong communication skills
  • We value someone who is a self-starter sharing our hands-on mentality, flexible and with great interpersonal skills, who is able to build strong, mutually respectful relationships
  • You are a quick learner, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can juggle a multitude of responsibilities
  • Business fluent English is required, German skills desirable
