We have an open position in our Industrial Design Team, where you will be spacing from short-term problem-solving for current product improvements to long-term innovation projects. As part of an interdisciplinary product development and implementation team, you will contribute to improving our customer experience, reaching new customer segments, to excite them, and to keep them interested and loyal to our brand. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Own the design in a multidisciplinary team that is evolving our current generation of air up drinkware; Therefore, always challenge the status quo
    and bring in fresh ideas.
  • Gain customer insights and translate them into new ideas and
    potential solutions.
  • Transform ideas into products in an iterative process, from first sketch over prototyping to implementation - always with the objective to proof desirability.
  • Continuously improve our existing designs to meet our customers’ needs and ideally exceed their expectations, in alignment and through inspiring exchange with your ID team colleagues.
  • Find a balance between contemporary aesthetics and feasible technical solutions, also optimizing for cost, in close collaboration with our design engineering team, your ID team colleagues, and other experts.
  • Deal with different tasks / projects in parallel without losing focus for priority and urgency. 

 

  • Teamwork is key: Work and collaborate with your colleagues in person in our amazing new office in Munich. It is key for our success that our multidisciplinary teams work closely together - inspiring one another, surrounded
    by prototypes.

That's you:

  • You hold a degree in Industrial or Product Design, or a related field.
  • You have 1+ years of professional experience (not counting internships) in industrial design and product development, having successfully brought products to market.
  • You have high proficiency in 
    • 3D modelling (Rhino, Fusion360, and/or SolidWorks) and 
    • Creating photo-realistic visuals (ideally in KeyShot or Blender), and also
    • Prototyping incl. 3D printing (Formlabs, Ultimaker, BambuLab ) 
  • You have an eye for detail paired with a strong sense for contemporary aesthetics, that becomes apparent in your portfolio of work samples.
  • An excellent communicator, using storytelling to convey your visions and ideas to others with ease.
  • A self-starter and a hands-on impact-focussed mentality.
  • You are flexible and open-minded, with great interpersonal skills, able to build strong, mutually respectful relationships.
  • You are a fast learner, have strong self-management skills, and you ideally
    have experience in using project management tools like Asana or Trello.
