This is a hybrid role,  where you you can expect to spend time each week  in our amazing air up office in Munich/Ostbahnhof.

Our Tech Support team is an empowered, mission-centric team responsible for supporting our employees in day-to-day operations.

As a Tech Support Engineer, you are going to take on an important role in our Tech Support team and will be the first point of contact for our internal users. You will be providing day to day support for our on-site as well as remote workers on all hardware and software related questions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, which includes managing laptops as well as on-site IT equipment (like networking and media equipment, printers, projectors, conference phones, cameras etc.).

 What will you do

  • Provide responsive and high-quality day-to-day IT support to employees in our Munich office as well as our remote workers.
  • Manage the seamless onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring that their IT needs are addressed promptly and efficiently. This includes setting up hardware for new employees, ensuring that all necessary software, configurations, and security measures are in place.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in supporting both Mac and Windows environments, addressing user concerns and troubleshooting issues on both platforms.
  • Manage and support SaaS tools like Google Workspace, Slack and others, ensuring that employees can effectively collaborate using these platforms.
  • Oversee the organization's IT inventory, maintaining accurate records of hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and user guides for common issues.

 

 

About you

  • Ideally, you have 2+ Years experience in an IT Support environment (in the form of Work experience or Apprenticeship).
  • You are used to managing Windows and Mac environments, and have some experience with Google Workspace.
  • You are familiar with IT security principles and best practices.
  • You are able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You can work in a dynamic environment while also addressing ad hoc requests effectively.
  • You are highly proficient in spoken and written English and have good command of German.
