In this role, you help to advance air up’s Customer Insights team and conduct actionable and innovative consumer & customer research in collaboration with various internal stakeholders (e.g., the exec team, portfolio, strategy, marketing, and branding) to empower them to take consumer value-driven decisions for our global brand.

Your responsibilities

  • You help to advance the Customer Insights team by improving and elevating customer research processes & AI tool landscape throughout the company
  • You take end-to-end ownership (incl. study conception and setup, execution and stakeholder communication) of research projects to directly inform key business initiatives and marketing priorities 
  • You initiate and contribute to customer research projects in a variety of domains: customer acquisition & loyalty research, customer satisfaction & usability research in physical product development, go-to-market strategies including customer segmentations and brand health measurement and much more
  • You set up research projects and processes that are action-oriented, agile, innovative, scalable, and internationally applicable
  • You use sophisticated data visualization and strategic storytelling skills to translate data into actionable and convincing insights
  • You combine secondary data and desk research results from other internal resources with primary data collection for the most insightful and efficient research output
  • You ensure the smooth flow of information between multiple stakeholders inside and outside the company, including external market research institutes

 

This is you

  • You have successfully completed your degree in the field of Behavioural Sciences, Consumer Psychology, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or in a related field
  • You have 2+ years of experience in consumer research, ideally in the food tech or FMCG industry
  • You have a true passion for consumer research and have the customer at heart with an insatiable curiosity for understanding consumers and the world they exist in
  • You have experience working with a wide range of both qualitative and quantitative methods 
  • You have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills (experience with R & Qualtrics preferred), data visualization (Veezoo, Displayr) included
  • You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills (apt for C-suite level management)
  • You are a doer with a hands-on mentality and a zest for action 
  • You have a strong ability to translate research findings into relevant insights for product & marketing teams, and other stakeholders 
  • You have full professional fluency in English and German
