We are seeking a dynamic and creative working student to join our passionate team. As a Graphic Designer mainly focussed on packaging artworks, you will help in ensuring our product packaging reflects the essence of air up's brand, while making customers understand what is so special about our products, and create a desire to buy.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to update packaging artwork, supporting our Senior Packaging Designer and other marketing and branding colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with our Senior Packaging Designer to create and modify packaging artwork files, in line with air up's brand guidelines and the specific product requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather input for artwork development, refinement and approval.
- Conduct thorough reviews of packaging files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with suppliers’ requirements and air up standards before we send them out for production.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance the customer experience around our packaging, to stay current with industry trends.
- Quickly adapt to feedback and make necessary adjustments to artwork to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and updates with team members, while capturing their feedback.
- Maintain well-organized documentation of all artwork versions, ensuring version control and easy accessibility for project team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a design or related program, pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for detail, color, and composition, shown though your portfolio of work samples (as website, or .pdf).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented, fast-paced environment, due to past successful internship(s).
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
- Genuine interest in design, branding, and packaging.
