About the Role

Airship is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our EMEA team! As a critical part of our revenue engine, you'll generate high-value pipeline opportunities for our Enterprise Sales team while playing an instrumental role in our company's growth.

This position focuses primarily on outbound prospecting—researching target accounts, identifying key personas, crafting personalized messaging, and leveraging phone/email/LinkedIn to generate interest. You'll also qualify some inbound leads from our Marketing and Partner channels.

The ideal candidate thrives in our fast-paced SaaS environment where adaptability is essential. We're looking for hungry, self-motivated professionals passionate about building a successful sales career!

What You'll Do

  • Execute personalized, account-based sales development strategies across target accounts to maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Develop and implement cold calling and email campaigns to identify potential customers who match our solution
  • Qualify outbound opportunities for our Enterprise sales team through strategic phone and email outreach
  • Leverage our tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Cognism, Sales Navigator, 6Sense) to manage your pipeline, drive success, and track progress
  • Maintain consistent high-volume activity with strong emphasis on phone calls
  • Take ownership of your weekly/monthly goals and targets
  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of Airship's technology, industry trends, and competitive landscape

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.

Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely. 

This position is hybrid with a few days a week in our London office, and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.

Compensation

Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location. 

Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
