Head of Marketing
The Role
Ziina is searching for an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our strategic product-led growth initiatives. This includes product marketing, brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
This role is ideal for a data-driven, creative leader who can develop and execute impactful marketing strategies while inspiring a high-performing team. We are seeking a versatile marketing leader with a full-stack background, with deep expertise in product marketing—including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution—while also combining creative flair with analytical acumen to position Ziina as the go-to payments solution in the region. The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in both startup environments and scaling organizations.
This is simultaneously a hands-on role while leading a phenomenal team of passionate high performers. We expect this role to lead by example by rolling their sleeves up and diving into the details including how every pixel aligns on the latest ad.
As a Head of Marketing at Ziina you will:
- Own product positioning and messaging strategy, translating Ziina's payment features into compelling customer benefits that drive adoption and differentiate us in the fintech market.
- Lead comprehensive go-to-market execution for new product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams and establishing measurable success metrics for user adoption and retention.
- Build data-driven quarterly marketing roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives, including strategic budget allocation across channels and initiatives.
- Drive multi-channel customer acquisition through paid media, content marketing, social media, and partnership strategies while optimizing for healthy CAC payback periods.
- Establish and maintain marketing analytics frameworks to continuously optimize campaign performance, forecast business impact, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Craft Ziina's brand narrative and storytelling that positions us as the go-to payments solution in the region through high-quality, creative content.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing coaching, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and data-driven results.
- Facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and executive teams to ensure alignment on messaging, goals, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning, messaging frameworks, and marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Manage marketing budgets strategically, allocating resources across channels and campaigns to achieve maximum ROI and sustainable, scalable growth.
- Oversee creative asset development with strong aesthetic vision, ensuring all marketing materials maintain brand consistency and premium quality standards.
- Select and manage external vendor relationships, including agencies and consultants, while maintaining high delivery standards and alignment with marketing objectives.
To succeed in this role you like have:
- Have 6+ years of progressive marketing experience with a proven track record of scaling growth in startup or high-growth environments, including demonstrated success in product marketing leadership roles
- Think strategically beyond immediate needs, developing and implementing medium to long-term marketing strategies that scale effectively as the business grows
- Have deep go-to-market expertise, with experience driving successful product launches and scaling user adoption across multiple channels and customer segments
- Excel at leading and inspiring teams, with strong mentorship skills and a focus on empowering team members to achieve peak performance and professional growth
- Are highly data fluent, with expertise in marketing analytics and a demonstrated ability to use metrics for forecasting, optimization, and strategic decision-making
- Combine creative flair with growth mindset, bringing natural aesthetic sense and innovative thinking to develop tailored marketing solutions that drive results
- Are confident and decisive, comfortable pushing back when necessary and prioritizing initiatives that align with long-term brand vision and business objectives
- Communicate exceptionally well, with strong verbal and written skills that enable you to engage stakeholders and convey complex marketing concepts clearly
- Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving ability, with a proactive, organized approach to overcoming challenges and managing risks in a fast-paced environment
- Have passion for fintech innovation, with genuine excitement about shaping the future of payments in the Middle East through creative, data-driven marketing
