The Role

We’re hiring a Head of Sales to lead, architect, and scale Zero Hiring’s commercial engine, with a bold mandate to grow to $10M+ in ARR within 12 months. This is a foundational leadership position, accountable for building a high-performance sales function while directly engaging with enterprise clients and ensuring seamless delivery of our AI-enabled recruitment platform.

This role requires a strategic and operational leader who can not only drive revenue but also bridge the gap between product, technology, and client needs. You will work closely with the CEO and the Founder/President, jointly defining the go-to-market (GTM) roadmap and ensuring alignment with company vision, execution, and delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & GTM Execution

  • Design and own the go-to-market strategy to achieve rapid ARR growth and market penetration.

  • Build and lead the entire sales function, including hiring, onboarding, playbooks, forecasting, and performance management.

  • Lead complex consultative sales cycles for AI recruitment solutions with medium to large enterprise clients.

  • Create a repeatable, scalable sales engine, focused on predictable pipeline growth, solution-led sales, and enterprise relationship building.

  • Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling campaigns and thought leadership aligned with GTM goals.

AI Product & Solution Integration

  • Partner with Product and Tech to translate AI capabilities into client-facing value propositions.

  • Act as a voice of the customer in shaping and iterating Zero Hiring’s AI recruitment platform, ensuring sales and product alignment.

  • Train and enable the sales team to effectively sell technology-led recruitment offerings, including platform demos, automation workflows, and data-driven hiring insights.

  • Contribute to the development of case studies, ROI frameworks, and proof-of-concept models for AI recruitment adoption.

Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruiting delivery teams to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to operations and long-term client success.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Founder/President, providing insight on sales performance, client feedback, market trends, and competitive positioning.

  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly revenue and pipeline reports, key client updates, and growth projections to the leadership team.

  • Drive strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel opportunities that accelerate market reach.

Strategic Reporting and Collaboration

  • Report to both the CEO and the Founder/President, with structured updates covering:

    • GTM progress, revenue attainment, and forecast accuracy.

    • Key enterprise deal status and sales team performance.

    • Market feedback and AI product adoption trends.

    • Strategic risks/opportunities and commercial innovation ideas.

  • Attend bi-weekly executive reviews and participate in strategic OKR planning sessions.

 

Who You Are

  • Experienced leader with 5–10+ years in B2B sales leadership, ideally in SaaS, tech-enabled services, or AI-based platforms.

  • Proven success in building and scaling sales teams and GTM strategies from the ground up.

  • Skilled in enterprise consultative sales, with a deep understanding of how to position solutions to solve complex customer problems.

  • Strong familiarity with recruitment tech, RPO models, or hiring-related platforms is a strong plus.

  • Comfortable operating in early-stage, high-growth environments with ambiguous challenges and fast-paced decisions.

  • You thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, and you're excited to shape how AI transforms hiring.
