Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer, you play a key role within Yuso in advising our customers and commercial partners on sustainable and innovative energy solutions.
You combine commercial skills with technical knowledge of energy generation, distribution, and efficiency.
You understand the challenges of our customers and partners regarding the energy transition and help them with transparent solutions that contribute to cost savings, sustainability, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Identify commercial opportunities with both existing and new customers in the energy market.
 - Follow up, support, and strengthen relationships with commercial partners (installers, resellers, consultants, and project developers).
 - Advise customers and partners on energy solutions such as sustainable generation, energy storage, smart grids, and efficiency improvements.
 - Prepare and present technical proposals, quotes, and business cases.
 - Provide technical support in the sales process, including product and system demonstrations.
 - Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product team, operational teams) to develop and implement customer and partner solutions.
 - Monitor market and policy developments within the energy transition and translate these into commercial opportunities.
 - Report on market insights, customer needs, partner follow-ups, and sales results.
 
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience).
 - Experience in the energy sector (energy generation, distribution, renewable energy, or energy technology) is a strong plus.
 - Strong affinity for sustainability, innovation, and the energy transition.
 - At least 2–5 years of experience in a commercial or technical-commercial role (B2B).
 - Experience in partner management or indirect sales is an advantage.
 - Excellent communication skills and persuasiveness.
 - Commercially minded, with a focus on customer value and long-term relationships.
 - Fluent in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
