Junior Analyst Intern

Here’s a summary of the role:   

We are currently looking for Junior Analyst to join our team on a 6 month contract in our Milan office. The role includes analyzing, interpreting data, and managing ad-hoc insights to provide effective and efficient answers to client questions and needs.

YouGov Shopper is the leading permanent tracking service for purchasing and consumption habits of Italian households in its sector. This survey allows our clients (Industry and Retailers) to gain a complete understanding of their consumers' purchasing behaviour and their growth potential. 

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff): 

• Design and define cutting-edge research projects that directly address client needs and unlock new market understanding.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of insights, ensuring our clients receive high-quality, impactful data and recommendations.
• Continuously enhance the integrity and efficiency of our data processes, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
• Proactively manage projects and activities, taking initiative to drive results and innovate.
• Create compelling presentations, reports, and visualizations (charts, dashboards) that effectively communicate insights and answer critical client questions.

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

• Analytical thinking, data analysis, and operational recommendations.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness.
• Good knowledge of preparing Excel & PowerPoint
• Interest in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector or work experience in a market research company will be an additional advantage.
• Native/bilingual Italian speaker.
• Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
