Senior Consultant
YouGov Shopper is a permanent tracking that allows FMCG clients and retailers to have a complete understanding of Shopper behavior. With Consumer Panel data it is possible to deep dive Consumer and Shopper knowledge, categories and brands performance drivers, diagnosis of purchase behavior and trends.You will be working for the main FMCG manufacturers operating in the Italian market.
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Advanced Solutions team. The role involves developing ad hoc quantitative market research studies from both shopper panels and other sources. The role combines aspects of research results analysis with client relationship management skills. This includes study design, data analysis and interpretation, and final client presentation. We offer a permanent contract based in Milan.
The Senior Consultant manages the different project phases in the Advanced Solution field that lead to responding to specific briefs from FMCG customers with consequent presentation of results and recommendations:
- Definition of an adequate Research Project
- Responsibility for the delivery times of all project phases
- Proactive and independent problem solving (finds solutions to business problems), not just execution of tasks!
- Interpretation and presentation of results with consequent recommendations.
You Will:
- Project management and presentation of results to FMCG clients based in Italy or abroad.
- Design studies built around the Client's needs by developing ad hoc analyses or surveys and leveraging solutions already present in the YouGov portfolio.
- Manage all phases of quantitative research: from gathering the brief and drafting the analysis project to presenting the results.
- Prepare the presentation with conclusions and recommendations for Clients and subsequent presentation.
- Close collaboration with the commercial department and the project production team in preparing the analyses.
- Preparation of sales offers in line with the YouGov Guidelines and active sales independently.
You Have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in market research.
- Ability to present analysis/project results to Clients and lead meetings.
- Proven communication and presentation skills.
- Curiosity and active listening skills.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (minimum B2).
- Ability to think analytically and analyze data and derive actionable recommendations.
- Fluent Italian language skills.
- Good knowledge of preparing MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Power Point presentations.
- Higher education degree preferred (Economics, Marketing, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Quantitative Methods).
- Self-sufficiency, responsibility, ability to work in a team.
- Interest in the FMCG sector or work experience in a research company will be an additional plus.
